I built my first Frog Jackdaw in 1971. I sold it a few years later. I built my second in 1982. It had a Diesel engine and I had great fun flying it in Cambridge at Oakington Army Air Force base (now a housing estate, I believe). It was a good flier, but when we moved to the West Midlands it was harder to fly as it was not 'Quiet Flight'. I built the third one in 2016 and started flying in 2017. It is electrically powered and flies very well.
