As the sky turned dark after a spectacular burst of sunshine through the Western horizon, one last blaze of light illuminated the canyon. Taken from Cape Royal, the rainbow and the surroundings are spectacular. I didn't have time to dismount my fisheye - by the time I had taken two frames the light was gone. It's a lesson I learned from a good friend - if you don't open the shutter you wont get any images. So I took it with what was mounted.
