They are pictures of the Peregrine Falcon as a chick (band A-62) that I recently photographed in Alameda, CA, as a juvenile. It's identification was rapidly tracked to a banding project in Seattle, WA. Here it is a chick in an eyrie on the Washington Mutual Tower in downtown Seattle. It is a female and the only one to survive this nesting. Ed Deal banded the bird on June 12, 2011
