A very high tide forced these shorebirds to
wait it out on a pier putting them in plain
sight and quite nervous. A California Gull
looking to land set them into flight.
Pictured are Willets, Marbled Godwits, and
three Black-bellied Plovers.
Old Barn Swallow nests line the underside
of the pier.
