Golden-crowned Sparrow

A group of about 10-15 White and Golden Crowned Sparrows
seems to be making a good living right now on the dikes
that separate Doolittle Pond from San Leandro Bay.
I think they're eating the seeds from the estuariane plants
that have died out from the summer and fall.
This one, taken at great distance, is either a female or
juvenile.
