Hellion of the Patio

Bay Farm Island, Alameda, CA

As usual, the local Cooper's Hawk was unsuccessful this time when it dive bombed
the birds feeding on my patio. Occasionally though it does get prey.
It decided to take a rest on my fence and reconsider its strategies.
I think it might be fairly young.
A Red(leafed)Plum and sky is the background.

What a handsome rascal. Your capture is terrific with feathers and the gleam in his dark orb in sharp focus and his metallic-looking hook of a beak ready for plunder.
