This is Great! It’s interesting seeing the patterns of what they really look like in flight. Great how you caught it on the down stroke.

Again an amazing picture. I wish you could come and take a picture of the kites living in my neighborhood. Last evening I saw one of them carrying a small critter back to the nest for supper. There's a nest and the mating pair are guarding it from marauding crows. Hope they'll last!

Another fabulous photo, Verne! Your photo captures clearly why the Red-shouldered Hawk is probably my favorite local raptor. Breathtaking!
