Here's the papermaker scooping up pulp! This just needs to be dried in the sun for a short while, and you get thin sa paper!!

Thanks for the comments! I don't know whether or not one can make paper from one of the native plants here. The sa bush of Northern Thailand, whose bark is boiled to make pulp for this paper, has been called "mulberry" by some translator, so perhaps some of our local berry bushes could be used?? I don't really know about papermaking. Maybe you can search the Web to see whether any of the Indians made paper, and if so, from what. Prof. Paula Jull (jullpaul@isu.edu) of the Mass Comm. Dept. is a paper artist and may know the answer to this question.

I have a question regarding this image.. Is it possible to make paper with one of these methods using material that is found in this (Snake River valley) area? If so, do you know which materials to use?
