The time recorded is Calif. time because I just went to CA. Actually it was taken after 8PM. This was taken between Roosevelt and Mammoth, i think. The resolution would have been better in this soft evening light if I had a better camera, such as D3x, D3, or D700! Anyway, I really appreciate the opportunity to photo grizzly bears this close. And I do appreciate the D300. It's so much better than anything just a short few years back.
