Last of the day light falls on the inner wall
of one my favorite places, Preah Khan Temple. Being near equator
the twilight time is very small and one has to be lucky
to catch the right light.
Preah Khan was built in 1191 AD by Jayavarman VII as a monument to his rule.
It is located north of Angkor thom. It was an entire city of about 56 hectares.
It housed about 15,000 monks, teachers, and students. Subsidiary buildings
included a hospital, rest house, and rice granary.
