I love photographing trees. The shots here are from my early days with the Sigma SD14.

The City of Melbourne is expanding to the North-east and many of these trees may not survive for much longer. This is a tragedy, as some of them are up to 500 years old. They are also the only breeding places for local parrots, including the Sulphur Crested Cockatoo - which has been known to live for 80-100 years.
