Pilliga East National Park, NSW

The utterly enchanting Pilliga. There is no way to explain just how amazing this forest is.
There is a magical presence here. The trees look like they are lit by the setting sun but it was an overcast day.

I believe the eucalypts in the foreground are Tumbledown Red Gums (Eucalyptus dealbata) that have lost most of their bark.

This area is under threat from coal seam gas mining.
Greed is the most destructive force on Earth.
