Mom at the site. Prasat Phanom Wan was aligned with the four cardinal directions. The temple faces east, as do all Khmer Hindu temples in Thailand. The principal sanctuary of Phanom Wan consists of a main prang, vestibule, and entrance hall, all of which was enclosed by a gallery constructed of sandstone and laterite.
