You can take a nice walking tour of the Buddhist temples of Phetburi...although finding a decent hotel in the city was a problem when I was there. This temple was a Khmer (ancestral Cambodian) Hindu shrine built around 1175. Phetburi is the furthest south along the peninsula the Khmers settled.
