Here are some wonderful images from the Zoe Leonard's Camera Obscura (Lens and Dark Room) gallery, currently on show at the Whitney Museum of American Art 2014 Biennial. This is one exhibition you should make every effort to see. A small pin-hole lens is mounted on a large window on the 4th floor of the museum, then projects life-size images from the outside onto a large wall in the museum gallery space. These images are projected in full color and upside down. Even the blue sky is reflected on the floor. The most remarkable of these shots are frames 6-9, where even the flowers on the trees in bloom can be seen on the wall and ceiling. In one ceiling shot even the colors of the traffic lights can be seen. The best time to see this display is on a bright, sunny day from 11 A.M - 3 P.M.
