A spectacular once in a lifetime opportunity to witness the magical, mystical and sacred performance of the dervishes whose message of peace and one-ness with the Creator, made a lasting impression on this photographer. My thanks to those who alerted me of this performance and to those responsible for bringing this troupe to Pittsburgh. Thanks also to the member of the organizing committee who allowed me in a "no photography allowed event" to take these photos (without flash)-making them a record that I hope will inspire and foster peace.
