After years of taking great care with my photography, I managed to pick up a brand new Olympus [mju:]-II point & shoot for £19 - that's £50 less than Jessops price! Ah, the simple life. Fits in your pocket, only has 3 buttons, and no silly zoom lens. Why worry about aperture and shutter speed? The camera will sort all that out for you! Shoot black & white film and develop it yourself for back to basics, low cost photography. I can take this camera with me everywhere and get shots that just wouldn't be possible with a big DSLR.
