On the journey back from Cornwall, we decided to stop at Stonehenge. We arrived just as a tour bus dumped it's load of happy snapping, icecream eating tourists into the queue for tickets. We decided that it probably wasn't worth the 15 minute wait and £5.50 to get in, so left. £5.50 to see some old rocks? And you don't even let you get up close these days. I reckon if they didn't employ the ticket seller, the lady in the info booth or the carp park attendants, it'd be free. These old rocks don't need a whole lot of upkeep... But we'd parked right next to the favourite watering whole of a flock of Starlings. We could photograph them for free!
