Under a beech tree in a garden somewhere in the south of England. This is why I usually shoot B&W jpgs and like to use a prime lens. I shot this in colour with a zoom, but instead of concentrating on the composition, I was fiddling with the zoom ring. Should have used the 24 f2.8, as then I'd have noticed the ropes / fence posts, and got more tree into the right of the frame. Then there was all the fiddling around with the b&w conversion in Photoshop. Just as well I didn't shoot raw mode or I'd still be trying to get it right. Is this better that this, or maybe I'll just tweek that slider. No wait, back to where I was... Next time I'll use FP4 and Rodinal... much easier!
