1981 Sharpener

A truly awful macro photograph of a pencil sharpener taken around 1981

Technical stuff from notes written on the back of another print in the same batch, which may or may not be correct. This is 23 years ago people...(!)

Camera: Chinon CS with 50mm f2.8 and extension tubes.
Film: FP4 developed in ID11, printed on Ilford Ilfospeed RC paper developed in Patterson Universal.

Scanned from the 5x7 print.

other sizes: small medium original auto

This illustrates the principle for making thin sheets of wood that are used in plywood: turn a log against a blade and the "ply" peels off.

Really bad. Looks like a Ronco Pen-o-Sharp 500X to me.
