We spent the first hour or so of 2004 emptying this bottle of fizz, outside the front of the house, watching other people's fireworks. I'd hoped that others be doing the same. But it was only us! We wished one drunken passer by "Happy New Year", to which he replied, "Yeah, what's so good about it then?" Guess his bottle of bubbly was already half empty!
