We woke up this morning at my folks house and soon realised they had no phone or internet connection. Seems that the people buying my parent house had told Talk Talk that they were moving in today, and without checking further, switched of my parents line this morning. The actual move date is next Wednesday BTW. Dad eventually managed to get through to talk to Talk Talk on a neighbours phone and apparently said there was nothing they could do. Unbelievable. So, 5 days before moving house, they have no way of contacting anyone, and no one can contact them. All due to Talk Talk's complete incompetence. Guess who they're not going to be using in the new house...
