I've got to thinking about the 1200 engine. Rebuilt, pistons and rods balanced to within a gram, this 'power pulley'* that I've had lying around for years, free flowing exhaust. Might be fun. Might get 40bhp amd 40 mpg...

Smaller diameter pulley that turns the cooling fan a tad slower thereby using less hp.
