The 31st of December 2002 was, as I recall, overcast and rainy, much like today. On that day, ten years ago to the day, I took a photograph that became the first in a daily sequence that lasted more than a thousand days. It was an amazing project and one that I know inspired others to try a similar thing. Now ten years after, I’m going to give PotD one more go.

With the endless wet weather, dark grey skies (and suffering an ‘orrible cold) the remains of the hydrangeas outside the window were as far as I wanted to venture.
