I wasted the last 3 frames of a roll of PanF as I just wanted to see the pics. I have a rule that with a 36 exposure film I have to shoot more than 30 frames before pulling it for development.

I agree with that. In fact, I very rarely sacrifice film if I can keep from it. Sometimes that's why you'll see me drag out a roll forever... :-)
