Jan 29: APS exploded

This is an Canon Ixus APS something or other that I pulled apart for your pleasure. Ten years ago it was probably £150. I paid 99p. I thought it might give up it's shutter mechanism for a pinhole camera I'm building. Alas, I don't think it'll work, but it was fun disecting it. In fact, this is what should have happen to all APS cameras. I'm mean, what really was the point of APS, other than a Kodak plot to get consumers to buy new cameras, pay more for film, and force labs to buy new processing gear...

Canon EOS 5D
1/13s f/4.5 at 105.0mm iso1000 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

What a mess... too bad that shutter won't work for you.
