In tests, I found blood is heavier than water. Alright, I admit. It's red ink. But it is heavier than water. And I used real water.

I only learned the other day that even though there are round pears, the difference between an apple and a pear is that an apple floats and a pear sinks! So, er, is blue ink also heavier than water?!
