The weather has been nice enough to check the bees. Here's me and a few of them. That's a brood frame I'm looking at, but there's no brood here, the queen will have slowed down and the colony is reducing in size ready for winter. More worrying is that there's little or no honey in the hive. Nothing in the 'super'. I didn't go right through the brood box, but I'm hoping they've got something in there. That's the radio remote in my left hand, firing the camera which was on a tripod. Sorry about the framing... I couldn't see through the viewfinder very well from where I was standing!
