Here I assigned sRGB instead of converting to it. Using assigned instead of converted, the data remains the same but the interpretation of the data differs, so you will notice a color shift with this option. This is the picture I used to create the subsequent ones. It's possible I should have used the previous one, but since I don't know how the Camera RGB profile was applied, I can't say for sure. In any case, it's important to know what color profile adjustments were made.

If this picture looks the same as the original, then your browser uses sRGB despite any embedded profile. If the second picture looks like the first one, on the other hand, then your browser uses embedded color profiles.

Both kinds of browsers exist.
