Portal of the Folded Wings
On December 17, 1953 (the 50th anniversary of powered flight) the Portal was dedicated as a "Shrine to Aviation" and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. My Grandfather helped to found this site. His name was James Gillette.

The official site is 'theportalofthefoldedwings.com'(portions under construction) Another authorized site is 'godickson.com'. There simply are no other "official" sites for the Portal of the Folded Wings. - John Torres, Portal Director
