Vikki, I rediscovered a printout I had made some time back of your article "Photoshopography: Retouching for a Natural Look". I just wanted to say "thanks" for this technique, specifically the smoothing and blending. It's now an action since I use it so frequently. This is absolutely marvelous! If you don't know it already, I used Photoshop extensively ;) and know what kind of work and time has been put into these images. This is a fantastic job on every one of them.

Why is it that almost all makeovers involve making the person WHITER? To the point of being unrealistically so?

Yeah, real proffessional. The Before picture has wrinkles added. The wrinkle pattern under her eye match EXACTLY the wrinkles on her chin. Go look.http://www.pbase.com/vhansen/image/38516762 (The rotated picture on page 3)

Wow you can make anyone look beautiful! I have just finished your workshop in PBase magazine and gave myself a complete makeover and I haven't looked so good in years! ;-) Now if only I could copy/paste it over my real face... Thanks so much for the article!
