On the Texas coast 50 degrees is considered very, very cold.
Too cold to venture out into the blustery elements, in fact.

Soooooo...off to the aquarium it was.

I find it necessary to be controversial....
I said to my exceptionally bright 10 year old nephew
"Just think....if you go back far enough in the earth's history we humans
share a common ancestor with these interesting creatures".

He pensively said "yeah, that's cool".

My concise, perhaps arguable, statement drew a look of certain disapproval
from an adjacent group of onlookers.
