Aug 20, gone without a trace......?

To be forgotten. That is frightening.

Old cemeteries make one think.
Who was this?

He or she.
Loved or hated.
7 days or 70 years, or 17.
Died alone or with loved ones.
Gay or straight.
Rich or destitute.
Kind hearted or wickedly evil.
Natural or murdered.
Happy or depressed.
Descendants or none.
Accompanied or alone.

Is anyone still alive that would care.

Enjoy life. It's but a moment.

Walking through cemeteries, looking at what to photograph next, those thoughts are with me constantly. Many of the really old gravestones gave much more info about the deceased than present day ones. I miss that. Great photo - like the composition and depth of field.

Very nice image and interesting thoughts.

“Take me out to Cypress Hill in my car. And we’ll hear the dead people talk. They do talk there. They chatter together like birds on Cypress Hill, but all they say is one word and that one word is “live,” they say “Live, live, live, live, live!” It’s all they’ve learned, it’s the only advice they can give. –Just live…

A beautiful capture and an interesting commentary. I think the best we could hope is to live on in the memory of our loved ones.
