A lot of people don't even realize that there were skim boards in the 70s. (I first gave one of them round plywood 'pizza' boards a try in Biloxi Mississippi in 1972....
As you probably soon realized, these guys finally were identified on individual pix and I forgot to delete my duplicate question here, but thanks anyway erika! It actually took a couple of weeks from the creation of the gallery, which is why I asked the question in the first place! I'm, still hoping that Marc will send me a Christmas card this year and I'll be able to point him this way!

i'll go with the "it's so obvious."
hans konrad, steve shelp, jack shelp and marc fredericks.
I'm curious? Does nobody recognize all four guys, or is it just so obvious that no one has bothered to fill in the blanks. I ask because I'm wondering if I need to do more captioning so that outsiders coming in will realize that all the pictures in this gallery feature these four guys over the years ( with the exception of bubble boy who will remain totally unknown).Imean, it adds to the entertainment value.... for example I linked some photos to picture 00237 (and visitors can do it too....look for instructions under " A Meeting Place" galleryhttp://www.pbase.com/venicepix/a_meeting_place_1
