This was the day I first met these two characters(140-146). I came across this proof sheet today and decided to scan them all , though some are not the greatest quality because: 1)I myself don't remember having ever seen a few of them full size and 2)A certain frequent contributor to these pages is perhaps a bit obsessed with nostalgia and I thought these might quench his thirst for a day or two. (plus I hope I'm doing a nice thing for a nice guy and his bro too)

Grew up on the "other" side - Miami... wish II would have taken photos like these. They are great! Would make a wonderful exhibit at a gallery - blown-up, hand painted, crop some together... you get the idea. I'm an artisit and use B/W photo some of my pieces:-) I will come back.

I grew up with Tim, Kelly, Greg, Avery, Jesse and the rest of the Venice Crew and was pleased when my brother Tony (A.K.A "TONAN") told me about this site. Thank goodness you took the time to take these photos back then and are posting them for all to see. It was really a great time period and exciting place to be raised. I only hope that the next generation enjoys it like we did. Hopefully, Venice will retain its charm and eclectic nature despite all of the Hollywood money moving in. I will tell all of my friends about this site for their enjoyment. Thanks.
