I was around from the pre-Zephyr era; Tail end of the POP, Cove and T's era. I am still a loner, and didn't have too many close friends besides Jay Adams and Scott Herman.
It's an honor to be pictured (bottom center) with some of the crew.
I stayed close to the Breakwater, getting epic winter surf in the late 90's. Then the Pavilion came down, the crowds got ridiculous, and I bailed to the Pacific North West in 1012. Venice will always be home, and the era(s) I got to surf and live through in Venice were very special. As were/are the local crew. Much respect to everyone.
