Re Byron and Becky -I don't have any priveleged info, but my general recollection as a BW local in those days was that they were a pretty serious couple for years-
Byron has always followed his own personal path, something for which, of course, he was originally ostracized but later admired [see Kell's comment athttp://www.pbase.com/venicepix/image/45261075 ] And Becky had created her own personal reputation as THE girl on rollerskates. I assumehttp://www.pbase.com/venicepix/image/45926171 is her, with Byron looking on, but I'm not sure if they were a couple then. When they started dating there were a lot of local heads being scratched in bewilderment.....

hey can't forget the mini arcade that was back there too. I never understood why the city did not let people run that snack shop during the 80's to 90's it was the closest thing to the beach and should have been a gold mine. I would of had it poppin to say the least , hot wings , burgers ,dogs ,fries , shakes , garden burgers, wheat grass shots, anything to get them in and keep them coming back. Venice was FULL of cute couples
