D tank of the County Jail annex, initially designed to hold thirty-two inmates in the late 70’s then expanded twice to forty-two then fifty-two with an over flow of using the day room to up that another twenty with mattresses on the floors and tables.
The jail taken over by the City as an intake holding area in 1985. I would work here for ten years. In late 2003 the jail closed relocating outside of the City Hall complex and the tank becoming a holding facility for city records for a time before being remodeled to offices.
