While walking to a derailment site some seven miles into the Meadow Valley Wash, Brett (a fellow photographer and railfan)ran across this little guy sunning himself along the rails. The track was closed down due to the derailment and clean up crews would not be able to respond to the scene for another 36 hours. So a semi warm January day turned into a seven plus mile hike along the rails to the site and then back again. More photos from that day will be turned into a gallery.
