Once past the check point and three miles further up the road is the follow on vehicle inspection area, inspecters will insure that they have all their required. Equipment consist of 15 gallons of water, flashing amber lights, checklist, batteries, flashlights, first aid kit, ham radio just to cover a few of the many items each vehicle is required to carry, along with the recommended alternate runner, assistant and driver.
