Coil Train

Barstow California

Looking more like a giant caterpillar than a train as it takes the curve into the Barstow yard. This unit steel coil train approaches the now closed Harvey House and part time Amtrak station on it right as the setting sun glints off the steel.

This is certainly an interesting image. The coil is a train car built to haul these coils. Very interesting and beautifully shot.

Beautiful, fascinating shot! I love the way the units are compressed.
