The vender's vehicle drove on to the tracks at the intermediate signal near the curve in the track, once on the tracks the vehicle became high centered and the occupants exited the vehicle and attempted to flag down the approaching train.
Upon impact the truck was dragged over a quarter of a mile before the train stopped. In this scene the local volunteer fire department and the occupants of the truck look over the scene.
