This passenger jet departing McCarren Airport looks like it heading to the moon but is only just flying by. With this Perigee moon 50KM closer to the earth everything looks bigger. This hand held shot was one of a few I took on my way home. Notice the slight blur that appears to be on the surface of the moon this is from the exhaust of the jet.
