I am writing in regards to my father, Ron LeBeau Sr. My father passed away 5/22/2005. While he never discussed his service in length, I know he was proud to have served our country and I can certainly attest to his love of German Shepherds. I have attached some great photos of him and 'Smoke' from Vietnam. I am hoping that you can post these photos to your webpage.

He served in the Army 25th IPSD 1st Calvary Division with a grade of sp4. He was enlisted on 8/7/69 and received his clearance or discharge in 3/71.

The 'Installation Clearance Record' lists an installation of Bien Hoa Army Base, 25th IPSD. Remarks include a conduct grade of excellent and an efficiency grade of excellent with a note that he has been recommended for an award for meritorious service. I do know that he received a Bronze Star Medal, Army commendation medal, and Air Medal.
