Evan-Thomas Recreation Area is in the Rocky Mountains south of Banff National Park in "Kananaskis Country". This area features magnificent mountain landscapes and a number of outdoor recreational activities including golfing, camping, hiking, cycling, snowshoeing and cross-country/downhill skiing.

The Bill Milne Trail (previously named Evan-Thomas Trail) is an easy paved bicycle path through forests and open valley landscapes. Mount Kidd (2958 metres/9700 feet) is in the background of this photo.
