Raiders hammer the Chiefs in a torrential downpour to close out the regular season on top of the AFC. Charlie Garner runs for some of his 135 yards here, and YES, that's Jerry Rice (#80)out front blocking!

The Raiders last trip to the Super Bowl sure seems a LONG time ago now... oh well.

The tailgate party was dry, but an hour before the game the rain started coming down. It was a real challenge to keep the UZi dry! Usually, I just watch the whole game through it (instead of binoculars) and hit the shutter every so often. With the rain, it was back and forth from its case and under the poncho. Consequently, I took less than a third of the usual number of shots per game.

I was in the Bay area over the weekend, so you sat in that pouring rain??? How did you keep your UZI dry? (Nice shot)

fiwit, you may instead want to refer friends tohttp://www.pbase.com/image/4239050 which was taken from the same spot in better lighting and clear weather. I'm in the 23rd row, which is about halfway point of the lower level of the Coliseum. In the past, I used to go down to the front with my D-460z, but since I got the UZi, I can shoot without leaving my seat.

Where were you sitting? I want to point some friends to this pic to brag about our Uzi, and it would add to the braggin' if I could tell them how far away you were. Cause it *looks* like you were RIGHT THERE.

Good work!

I watched the closing minutes of this game on TV amidst some Chief's fans. Bummer.
