Parkman Bandstand at Burton Century Village
Originally built in 1887 at Parkman, Ohio, this two-story bandstand was the longtime
home to the Parkman Buckeye Band. When it fell into disrepair and the town decided to
replace it, it was moved to Burton Century Village and restored to serve as an historic
artifact of 19th Century life in Geauga County.
(Burton Century Village is a collection of structures with nominal historic interest
from locations around Geauga County. When threatened by demolition, they were
"rescued" and moved for preservation as educational exhibits on county history).
