Mooreland is among the prominent landmarks in this town and reminds of a bygone era over
100 years ago when Cleveland's wealthy business magnates turned to this area to build lavish
country estates as a summer retreat for family, associates and guests. Most of these splendid
mansions still exist, although today serving as community facilities of one sort or another.
