"Star rotation at Grand Canyon"
I know that digital cameras are great
but how about extreme long exposures.
This was done for 15 minutes at f/2.8
Please try with your digital and post.
The different colors shows the temp.
of the star. The cloud look is the Milky Way.

Camera put on timed exposure for about 15 minutes,
shutter stays open until released (not bulb)
Exposure can go as long as you like, 15, 20 etc.
