A dispute over a road left old Worth Bagley pushing up daisies, and his neighbor, Frank Keys
in jail for 5 years before being declared innocent due to "self defense".
Keys operated the Desert Queen mine and Wall St. Mill in what was to be Joshua Tree National Park.
The historic artifacts of the mill are still there and reachable by trail, after over 60 years.
